Flight operation efficiency and sustainability officer

The Efficiency & Sustainability Officer leads sustainability initiatives across flight operations, focusing on reducing environmental impact and improving operational efficiency.

Main Functions:

 
  • Monitor and analyse flight data and performance metrics to identify areas for improving fleet’s fuel efficiency and reducing emissions  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into operations, enhancing flight planning and operational efficiency
  • Prepare sustainability reports and track progress.
  • Develop and implement sustainable aviation initiatives in the ATM domain
  • Monitor and report on the evolution of the environmental regulatory framework
  • Lead sustainability projects and supervise the Sustainability Pilots.

Requirements:
 
  • High School Degree in Aeronautics (Bachelor Degree may represent a plus), or holder of an aeronautical license (e.g., Pilot, Flight Dispatch).
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, combined with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Familiarity with other software may represent a plus).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices in aviation.
  • Ability to manage sustainability projects and analyze efficiency metrics.
