Network Planning Specialist

We are looking for a Network Planning Specialist to be based in Verona Villafranca.

Responsibilities and main functions:

Define long to short term flights schedule for Air Dolomiti operated flights in cooperation with the Lufthansa Network Planning Departments.
Align and manage the approval process between Revenue Management, Scheduling and operational departments to implement and publish schedule adjustments.
Work closely with maintenance, operational and financial departments to improve and optimize crew/aircraft availability increasing on-time performance and ensuring product integrity.
Monitor competitors and market evolution to plan corrective actions.
Evaluate new services and development proposal to improve aircraft profitability.
Analyze Air Dolomiti performance and network profitability KPIs to identify areas of opportunities.
Plan and manage charter activity including slot coordination.
Support Lufthansa for slot coordination in Italy.
Build relationships with main stakeholders (airports, slot coordinators, industry authorities, other airlines, etc).
Develop analyses and create ad-hoc reports and presentations for the Management.

Technical qualifications and personal qualities:

Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Bachelor Degree in economics or scientific fields preferred;
Knowledge of network processes in airline industry would be a plus;
Proficient in Excel and MSOffice Suite;
Effective communication skills;
High ability to work independently as well as in a multicultural team;
Time Management and Organizational Skills to meet deadline and maintain accuracy;
High analytical and data driven mindset when approaching decision making and problem solving;
Available to travel frequently and work from abroad (mostly Munich and/or Frankfurt).
