Technical Purchase Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Purchase Specialist to be based in Verona Villafranca.

Essential Functions:
 
  • Issuing and managing purchase/repair orders for spare parts and tools to ensure the availability of parts for aircraft maintenance.
  • Monitoring orders until acceptance of the part and following up with suppliers regarding delivery delays.
  • Managing logistics aspects.
  • Handling AOG (Aircraft On Ground)/CRITICAL orders until the part arrives at the requested delivery location, and coordinating with the Maintenance Control Center and Warehouse.
  • Managing warranty claims with suppliers.
  • Overseeing work performed by third parties in terms of material orders, related logistical aspects, and economic recording of the work done.

Requirements:
 
  • Availability to work night shifts from Monday to Sunday.
  • At least two years of experience in the purchasing department.
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient computer skills (knowledge of SAP is a plus).
  • Social skills (teamwork, effective communication).
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
